Where We Come From

PerspIQ is a brand and product of V2Solutions, Inc., a corporation incorporated in the State of California, USA, with operations in the United States and India (“V2Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

PerspIQ is an AI-powered fashion product intelligence platform targeting the US retail market. The PerspIQ brand operates the marketing website at perspiq.com (the “Site”). V2Solutions, Inc. is the legal data controller responsible for personal information collected through this Site.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to information collected from visitors to perspiq.com — the public-facing marketing website. It covers:

  • Browsing and navigating the Site as an anonymous visitor
  • Submitting a contact form or requesting a product demo
  • Any communication initiated through the Site before account creation

This policy does not cover the PerspIQ SaaS application. If you are a registered user of the PerspIQ platform, your account data, uploaded content, and usage data are governed by the PerspIQ Platform Privacy Policy, which is accessible within the application upon login.

How We Use Your Information

We do not use information collected on this Site to train AI models, conduct profiling, serve behavioral advertising, or share data with data brokers.

We use information collected through this Site for the following purposes only:

  • Responding to inquiries — to reply to your message or schedule and conduct a product demonstration you have requested.
  • Sales follow-up — to follow up on a demo request in connection with evaluating or purchasing PerspIQ’s services. We rely on legitimate business interest as our lawful basis for this.
  • Site improvement — to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate and improve its content and performance. Analytics data is never used to build individual profiles.
  • Legal compliance — to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, or enforce our rights.

Google Analytics

This Site uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and report aggregate information about Site usage.

  • IP anonymization is enabled — your IP address is truncated by Google before it is stored. We never receive or store a full IP address through Google Analytics.
  • No advertising features — we do not use Google Signals, remarketing, demographic reporting, or any Google Advertising features.
  • Data sharing with Google — data collected is transmitted to Google servers, which may be located in the United States. Google’s use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

To opt out: You may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being collected by Google Analytics on any website.

EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors: Google Analytics will not load until you provide consent via our cookie consent mechanism. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Internal teams at V2Solutions, Inc. — employees and contractors involved in responding to your inquiry or operating the Site, subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Service providers — third-party vendors who help us operate the Site or manage communications (e.g., email delivery, CRM). These vendors are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of V2Solutions, its users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided any successor entity is bound by the terms of this policy or provides equivalent protections.

International Transfers

V2Solutions, Inc. has operations in both the United States and India. Information you submit through this Site may be accessed by V2Solutions personnel in India for purposes of responding to inquiries, operating the Site, or providing internal support functions.
India is not currently recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection equivalent to the EEA. Where such transfers occur and you are located in the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission as the appropriate safeguard for such transfers.

You may request a copy of the applicable transfer mechanism by contacting us at privacy@perspiq.com.

Data Retention

We retain contact and demo request data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was submitted — typically for the duration of a sales conversation and up to 24 months thereafter, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

If a demo request does not lead to a business relationship, we will delete or anonymize the associated contact data within 12 months of our last meaningful interaction with you.

Aggregated, anonymized analytics data does not contain personal information and may be retained indefinitely for Site performance analysis.

Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our Site
  • Access controls limiting contact form submissions to authorized V2Solutions personnel
  • Periodic review of data handling practices

No method of internet transmission is fully secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law, including California’s data breach notification requirements under Civil Code § 1798.82.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, we honor the following rights with respect to personal information we hold about you as a result of your interaction with this Site:

ACCESS
Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
CORRECTION
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
DELETION

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right available to you under applicable law.

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants you the following additional rights:

Authorized agents: California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit rights requests on their behalf. We may require verification of the agent’s authority before processing such requests.

To submit a CCPA/CPRA request, contact us at the address in Section 15. We will verify your identity before processing and respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension where reasonably necessary.

EEA & UK Visitors (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the following applies:

  • Data Controller: V2Solutions, Inc., California, USA.
  • Legal bases for processing: We process contact and demo request data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to a business inquiry you initiated). We process analytics data on the basis of your consent, obtained via our cookie consent mechanism. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the EU, this is the data protection authority in your member state. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
  • International transfers: See Section 7 regarding transfers to India.

ACTION REQUIRED: We are working to appoint an EU/UK representative as required under Article 27 of the GDPR and UK GDPR for organizations without an establishment in the EEA/UK. Details will be updated here once confirmed.

Children's Privacy

This Site is intended exclusively for business professionals evaluating enterprise software. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 16.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, please contact us immediately at privacy@perspiq.com and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Site functionality. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

For material changes — those that meaningfully affect how we use your personal information — we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice, such as by displaying a notice on the Site prior to the change taking effect.

Your continued use of the Site after any posted update constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy.
